New Medicines Service

If you’ve recently been prescribed a new medicine from your Doctor to help treat a long-term health condition, our pharmacists at Puri Pharmacy can help you understand your new medicines better. 

We work with all the GP surgeries in Southall and Hillingdon and with over 40 years experience, we are experts in medicines. 

The New Medicines Service will give you the chance to find out more about your medicine and identify any problems you may be having with them. 

Our pharmacists at Puri Pharmacy can answer any queries to help you find the easiest and most effective way of taking your new medicine.

 

How does the service work?​

Engagement

The pharmacy team will tell you about the service when dispensing your new medicine

Intervention

You will have your first consultation In store or over the phone with a pharmacist 7 to 14 days after getting your new medicine

Follow Up

Have a follow-up consultation A follow-up appointment with a pharmacist 14 to 28 days later after getting your new medicine
