Allow time for protection
Flu vaccination helps protect against influenza, although it cannot prevent every infection or guarantee fewer sick days. Protection can take up to 14 days to develop.

Practical answers for employers arranging a staff flu clinic.
Is there a minimum number of staff?
The on-site minimum is 20 people. If fewer people are interested, contact us about pharmacy appointments or a possible shared clinic. Arrangements are subject to availability.
How do I book a clinic?
Send your workplace postcode, expected uptake, preferred dates and shift patterns. We will discuss availability and issue a written quote. Your clinic is confirmed only once the arrangements and terms have been agreed.
What is included in the price?
Indicative prices are per vaccination and include individual clinical assessment, consent and aftercare advice. Your quote will confirm billable headcount, any minimum charge, additional visits or travel, applicable taxes, payment and cancellation terms.
Does the employer pay?
This is an employer-funded private service. Staff who qualify for an NHS flu vaccination may be able to use an NHS route separately; eligibility does not automatically make a private workplace booking free.
Can every employee have the vaccine?
The service is for adult staff. Each person is assessed individually, and vaccination may need to be deferred or may not be suitable. The clinical team will explain appropriate next steps.
How much time should we allow?
We plan appointment slots and clinic staffing around the agreed headcount and shifts. Some staff may need more time for assessment. We will confirm the clinic schedule before the visit.
Will vaccination prevent staff sickness?
Flu vaccination helps protect against influenza but does not prevent all flu infections, colds or other causes of illness. It cannot guarantee fewer sick days. Protection can take up to 14 days to develop.
Can you cover several sites or shifts?
Tell us about each site, expected uptake and shift times. Multiple visits or sites need a tailored plan and quote. We initially focus on workplaces within approximately five miles of either branch, subject to postcode and availability.
